vuelta de la leyenda
these days i have done fair justice to my time.
i have read books of different types, played, partied, roamed and most important of all is that i never felt frustrated with my life these days.
hell it was a week ago when i studied a railway station plan of Akola by a B.Tech form our college. there was nothing special about it, i noticed no innovation in ideas presented in the journal. yeah but one thing is sure that when you do a study on such type of projects you have a lot of benefits . there were n no. of plans and elevations and sectional views that is worthwhile to be considered as a positive side in doin such projects....other than that..the project was dead expect with some useless data that were just copied....
i cant understand need to do such projects....
well then i must not forget to mention about a book relating with business communication..business communication today by Courtland L.B. and John Thill..
yeah i am concerned about the vagaries of the market trends and issues relating to business....may be i pursue this interest in my near future..
what more...??
yeah...web 2.0 and web1.0...
terms so indispensably attached to us but what do they mean and what are the difference between them and its wiki info was what i surfed a lot...
i also learnt about the ethical dilemmas of business world...terms like ethical hacks and plagiarism....
"ANYTHING ISN'T EITHER BLACK OR WHITE ; THERE EXISTS SHADES OF GRAY"
perhaps two conflicting alternatives are both ethical and valid or perhaps the alternatives lie somewhere in the gray area between clearly right and clearly wrong.
i always read books to develop my communication skills more and more better than it is now..
be it a interpersonal,informational or a decisional role..communication is always important .
your ability to communicate will influence people's perceptions of you as a business professional.
a wrong way to communicate
it has come to my attention that many of you are lying on your time cards. if you come in late, you should not put 8:00 on your card.
if you take a long lunch, you should not put 1:00 on your time card. i will not stand these type of cheating. i simply have no choice but to institute an employee monitoring system. beginning next Monday, video cameras will be installed at all entrance to the building, and your entry and exit times will be logged each time you use electronic key cards to enter or leave.
anyone who is late for work or late coming back from lunch more than three times will;l have to answer to me. i don't care if you have to nap or you girls had to shop.this is place to work and we don't want to be taken advantage by slackers who are cheaters to the boot.
it is too bad that a few bad apples always have to spoil things for everyone.
now look at the unethical way of dealing with staffs.it has considered human as a tool rather than a resource.
by the way do you one gr8 thing about Japanese businessmen
they seldom say no
rather they prefer to say
" it will be difficult"
or may be
" i will ask my senior..lets see"
their way...
lets talk of science..
ever heard of satellite farming...
i came to knew last week about amazing techniques of studying acidity, soil type, crop yields and plenty of other characters mere by use of satellite ..without even touching the land ...and then planning to have cultivation...great na...
and finally i made a very important discovery while reading a really amusing magazine ...
why are manhole covers round??
ans.
because that's the only shape that can't fall through an open hole of slightly smaller size!!!!
pragmatically
pragmatic ("Manhole covers are round because manholes are round.")
hehe
A round manhole cover cannot fall through its circular opening, whereas a square manhole cover may fall in if it were inserted diagonally in the hole.
other reasons may include the traditions..
and of course the rolled tubes we get are the strongest on in nature to withstand loads !!!
phewwwwwwwwwwwwww
(seems that i have read a lot this week)
every thing else seems good for now..lets see how it carry overs...
till then bye...
thought of the day:
"if we can't break the ice, how about we melt it."
" first benchers are intelligent students only till last benchers do not participate in the discussion"-
